Social work bsc OR Psychology & counselling Bsc?
Need advice..What are the pros and cons of a Bsc in Social work & a Bsc (or possibly foundation degree) in Psychology & counselling??
I'm currently studying on an access to social work course and I'm stuck on what to go for..
I want to get a job in the mental health area, however I'm not entirely sure what my options are e.g. what different sorts of jobs there are etc. any help?? : )

I currently have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, with this you have a foot in the door for jobs which include marketing to social work and many others. I recently received a job offer in social work as a youth counselor. If you want to work in the field wither will work although Psychology gives you more options. The negative for the areas of study are that for better high paying jobs you need at least a master's or Phd. etc. But it is a good and reward pursuit, go for it and good luck!
