Facebook comment notifications not working - everything else ok?

Hi all - I have read several forums on facebook notifications, and many have similar problems to mine. But their solutions are not working for me. It started yeterday when I tried to click the "x" on someone's comment, simply thinking that specific comment/and or notification would be "hiden". But an additional box poped up asking something along the lines of "hide all" or "spam all". I didn't read the full explaination as I should have, thinking "hide all" would only hide that specific users comments. Now, it hide's EVERYONE's comments. I still got notifications (red alert bubble - I cancelled my email alerts) when someone "likes" a comment or picture, but not when someone actually comments on my wall or comments on a post etc. I do not wish to recieve email notifications, I turned that feature off months ago. And - I have tried clicking on the notifications, selecting "see all notifications" and making sure all the wanted features were "checked" on the right pain. Still not working. I know it has something to do with what I did yesterday and chosing to "hide all". I must of agreed to hide all comments some how and I can't figure out how to reverse it!! ahh!

listen i understand first btw this is for the new facebook ,click on the notification tab and at the bottom of the tab says see all notifications on the side it says u have hidden ____ depending on name then it says click to undo then click it ...viola yeah
