Instagram issue please help? ?

I'm trying to like pictures on instagram, but it keeps saying "error, invalid request"
What does that mean? And can I fix it?

The same exact thing is happening to me, and has been for the past few hours and frankly, it's driving me nuts... I turned the phone off and on and everything, so it must be some sort of technical glitch on their end. I hope it works soon

It happened to me too, you have to go update your instagram app.
