i keep seeing a usb plugin notification in my taskbar and i swear to god i am hearing whispers?

after it says the plug in is succesful i hear whispers and stuff help it's scaring me i a wearing head phones and i take them off and i can't hear it anymove than put them back on and theve it is again is someone in my internet i'm scaved i'm not smavt with this stuff and now it's doing it again

You probably have a video playing in another tab of your web browser.

A lot of sites, like yahoo and facebook, have started to use auto-playing videos and video ads. As a result, it's not uncommon to have your computer seem "haunted" when you start hearing something odd, but it's almost always some stupid auto-playing video buried on a website somewhere.

I understand the feeling. I have to wear headphones for my PC, music and even the TV. I'm switching headphones all the time. And sometimes I hear a strange sound and I'm looking all over from where the sound is coming. And there I forgot to logout of a game and it was playing the theme song through my PC headphones. I never noticed it as I switched browser windows.

Nothing spooky going on. Just technology ghosts.
