hey so i have now been going to college now for 6 weeks and i have noticed a boy when i get on my bus i really like him but the thing is the bus is always so busy every morning to the point where people stand up i don't think he has ever seen him but since me seeing him i see him all over college like in the library and well yesterday i saw him on his own outside i wanted to go over but i am really shy and wouldn't know what to say lets just say this i am 17 and never had a boyfriend and never really talk to guys but the thing is i told my friends that i like him and they always point him out making me go red which i hate i don't even think he's ever seen me what do i do Help please?

and well my friends don't really class him as "fit" or "hot" i don't normally like guys that are all that popular with girls

I'm really shocked that you haven't had a boyfriend if that is really you. If you went to my high school, I'm pretty sure all guys would fall for you in a heart beat, but I'm a freshmen in college now and i really don't think you should be worried here. I guess it's still really early and you can either go for him and walk away and find someone you are more comfortable with. Though I guess the big question here is, how old this guy may be. If he is around 21-22ish, I don't think he would date a 17 year old in my opinion. Though I guess the only way to really spark things is talk to him. He isn't going to randomly show him and talk to you, so find an opportunity to talk to him, maybe give him a compliment like "i like your shirt" or whatever because college students tend to do that around campus sometimes. I guess it's a friendly environment in college compared to high school where most people stick in a particular group. Good Luck and make the move!

Aww don't worry your only young and there is no rush to get a boyfriend! Your a really pretty girl and when the time is right you will find the right guy. I now how you feel because I was shy at your age and its not as easy as going up to someone and talking. If I was you I would just try to make eye contact and give him a smile. If he is interested then let him come to you, but like I said don't worry over it at all. I'm sure by the time your 21 your confidence will have kicked in like it did with me and you will be able to talk to any guy! Just enjoy being 17!!

You have to break the ice by speaking whenever you guys passes by even if it's a simple hello. Reason for this is to get his attention, to get him to notice you. Then make small talk one day, it doesn't have to be about anything specific. Be yourself, be cool, and calm, yet give him some form of sex appeal, spark curiosity in him. If he find you interesting he will approach you and want to know more.
