I'm not to keen about it. I'm not good in making slogans but comparing it to WOW Philippines, I still prefer that over Pilipinas Kay Ganda. They should have made a survey or a contest for it. Probably, it would have yielded a lot of better slogans if they did that.

I do not understand it and can see the point of the comments of some saying that it sounds like a "TV show" and that it lacks creativity or appeal. I am left wondering what it means, but then I live in the UK and only speak English.

my green mind's opinion: maybe foreigners will think of it as a sex tourism slogan. Pilipinas (country) might be confused with P(F)ilipinas (women). Yes the Philippines is beautiful and Filipinas are beautiful hahaha...but if DOT wants to promote the Philippines, they should use a slogan that doesn't have double entendre... WOW Philippines was short but straight to the point, I liked that better than the new one.

The beauty of the Philippines is beyond words and there are a lot of creative people who can do better slogans than what they have come up with! Crowd sourcing or setting up a contest could be helpful too since it is best to know the public's suggestions rather than succumb to some inept slogan creator's ideas. The Philippines is a democracy, better hear out the voice of the people and not promote the country by imposing what they have already come up with that a lot of people do not like nor understand...

if it was intended for foreign tourists(which of course it is)its language is definitely wrong. almostall slogans i think are in english(incredible india, malaysia truly asia) as english is the most widely spoken in the world, and the Philippines should have taken note of that. i also wish it had been more creative. WOW Philippines was pretty short and i would have liked leaving it but i wish the new slogan was better.

It's ok maybe it will help. But still the we need more promotions esp in our local areas. DOT, Province of Tourism should be more responsible rather us Travel Agencies.

As a tourism student, I LIKE IT.
We should love our own, how can others love it when we Filipinos will not give a damn in supporting it.
com'on. Where's your NATIONALISM people?
Let's not judge it for its just a start, give your negative comments when you see the results!

I still find the old slogan a lot better than this one..I agree with all the comments posted earlier..Tourists may have a hard time understanding what that means..it's like France using French language for their slogan, and that would leave us clueless of its meaning..

I think the new slogan is not that attractive to all especially to our foreign tourists. It should have an impact with regards to our country's destinations, leisure, retirement and even businessess.("Philippines... an amazing island in the east").
