Please help with an old Facebook account?

Hi guys. Hope you can help. I have a Facebook account which I have had for 2 years now and use often. However, when people type my name in the only one that comes up is an old one with no picture that was deactivated fully. Can anyone tell me how I can remove this? The email used for that account was an old Hotmail address which I don't think I can remember. The other question is, why does that one come up in search but not my one now with my picture and everything.

I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

When De-activated it doesnt actually deactivate it fully.
If you need to Fully Remove your account and take it off Facebook's Datatbase, Contact facebook and ask them.
Your new Facebook Account will still be in the search box.
You can sign into your old Account and Put OLD ONE in the middle of your name.
