this girl that i think is pretty requested me on facebook to be friends. i see her around at school. she hangs out near me and my friends but i have never talked to her in my life. what can this mean? why do you think she would do this if we dont even talk??? please help me

Friends on facebook means verry little. It just means that they don't hate you and wouldn't mind knowing you. I am in high school and have people requesting me who i dont even know.

Usually on facebook you add acquaintances. maybe she is doing it to become friends. So just add her or dont.
