Ways to get my friends inspirational story out and to gain votes. Ideas?

My dear friend has struggled with her weight since we were childhood friends. She recently has got fit by a program she entered. She worked her butt off and has recently became a finalist on their websit BUT needs people to vote for her. I have been trying to get her story told via.youtube , twitter and Facebook... but I feel as though its not getting any where. Her story was also told in our local sentinel today.

Any suggestions how to make her story more well known? We need the votes! She worked so hard. Thank you
