You can delete it but you can always go back on it. What i did is have someone change my password then have them delete it so it is impossible for you to get back on it yourself! Hope i was able to help you(:

you have to contact them. deactivating the account is the closest to deleting your account that you have the authority of.

press on ACCOUNT on the uppper right of the page then Account setting ..then deactivate !! cheers ,screw facebook

You go to account settings, and then deactivate account. You can still get back on your account whenever you want though, but no one will be able to see your page while it is deactivated.

Well, you need to contact the support team of Facebook.

Go to your facebook page go to your account settings hit Deactivate

Note When you Deactivate it will shut down your account however you can reactivate it at anytime but when its deactivated nobody will be able to find you it will not exist however your friends photos and everything are still there and can be restored if you decide to restore your account to do that log in and follow the steps it mite take a few days for it to be restored hope i helped
