How to get my friends to join facebook?

I want my friends on facebook, but they say "Oh i forgot" I know I can't make them but I need to keep in touch before i move! I lost my cell, so Help!

if they dont one you cant make them. they will eventually. just keep their emails. write the #'s on paper. people live before cellphones.

I had a friend that I bugged for ages to get a facebook, in the end I sent him an official email invite (you know the one you can make with the 'Invite people to join' link) and he was finally bothered to make one. Otherwise one of my other friends just made a facebook for her friend using her email address and her friend just ended up using it.
