Do you need wifi to use the facebook app on ipod touch?
Do you need to be in a wifi hotspot to use the facebook app on ipod touch. ? Or can you go on it anytime anywhere?

You have to have wifi. You can't connect to facebook without it

Yepp.
A lot of places have wifi.
Malls, hotels, and public places like so.
But you most definatley need WiFi for the facebook app.

You need wifi for everything on the ipod touch for all the apps you need wifi besides the music and video app i recommend buying a router from the apple store
