Why does my ex girlfriend still get jealous of me liking other girls?

We have been broken up since June and we haven't spoken in months. Recently she messages me on facebook and we start talking again. She starts talking to me pretty much exactly the way she did when we were dating, but a bit nicer and actually asks me all the time how I am doing, how I am feeling, etc. She even said to me "I heard you have a girlfriend, I dont remember who told me" and I am not sure why that concerns her. Well I noticed again she has the same old issue with me, if I mention a girl I like, she gets jealous and does not wanna talk about it, changes the subject immediately. As silly as this may sound, she has a role play account on Facebook where her name was named after a character I like. A few weeks after we started talking and getting more acquainted, she changed the name of that profile to her real name and put on the profile "finally was able to change this profile name" and not sure if that is because of me but I have my suspicions. I still love this girl, I haven't dated anyone since and I heard she hasn't either. Why is she getting jealous STILL of other girls I may like and asking if I am in relationships and acting so concerned all the sudden?

listen, here is my story:
I was riding shot-gun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car. He had a one hand feel on the steering wheel, the other on my heart. I looked around turned the radio down and he said "baby is something wrong?" I said "nothing, I was just thinking how we dont have a song!." And he said, "Our song is the slamming screen door, sneaking out late tapping on your window, when were on the hpne and you talk reaaaaaal slow, because it is late and your mama dont know. Our song is the way you laugh the first date man, I didnt kiss her and I should have." But when i got home before I said Amen asking G-d if He could play it again.

She's jealous because she's not over you yet and she don't want u to be with any1 else right now. It's normal when a girl gets jealous when her ex is trying 2 date some1 else...it still hurts

Because she still cares about you and doesn't want you to be with anyone else. She wants to be with you. Duh.

She more than likely still likes u, but even if she doesn't girls tend to still have jealousy issues with their ex's. Think of it as them being use to feeling as though u belong to them and are their property, and get jealous when another girl comes along.....better get use to it bcuz unless the relationship ends horribly or they straight up lose all interest, all of them do it.
