facebook app on my blackberry won't work?

i got my blackberry curve 3g today and i have downloaded app world
i then downloaded facebook and it said that that was successful
however when i come to open facebook it says that my plan does not support this data and i need to contact my service provider?
however my plan includes unlimited internet and i pay £5.10 for blackberry booster
my blackberry messenger works fine if that has anything to do with it
would appreciate tips here

I installed the Facebook app last night for Blackberry. I didn't like it and removed.

In the process of removing it, it's deleted all the contacts from my Address Book.

I wouldn't bother it, if I was you. Using it in the web browser is better, in my opinion.
