facebook privacy settings help?

Every time I comment on a photo, link or status, it shows up in my newsfeed/profile. How can I prevent this?

When your on facebook, there should be a blue line at the top of the page with lots of different links i.e. "Home" or "Profile". One of them will say "Settings", click there. From here there will be a list of different settings, one will say "Privacy", click the "edit details" next to it. This will lead you to a page with different options. This will allow you to change whatever you want. Hope this helps
