Facebook Notifications Help?

Ok recently I have been starting to have problems with Facebook but i have managed to fix most of the important ones. But now on Facebook my notifications have started acting up. First the notifications turned upside down so the most recent ones were at the bottom then i just occasionally didnt get one or two of the notifications that i should have received. Now the notifications poppup thing doesnt show up at all untill half an hour after i should have received the notification, and i still randomly dont receive some of them.

I am using Mozilla Firfox....and i have cleared all the cache and history from it.
I have done a virus scan and nothing has popped up.
I have re-installed Firefox and nothing has happened.
I have checked all the addons i have on firefox

SO PLZ HELP??? i want to know if there is a problem with firefox and how can i fix it....or if it a more general thing

It sounds like a problem with facebook or with your internet connection. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing it, unless it's a problem with your browser. To check if it's a problem with your browser, use Internet Explorer or download Google Chrome (free and speedy).
