opinion of this prom dress.?

I'm trying to decided onn if i should get this dress. its gold but you can get it in other colors i want purple. I'm dark skinned but not super dark so i was wondering if this would look okay on me because of my skin tone.

It's a nice dress babe
I reckon it'd look amazing in a purple colour too, and i personally dont see how it could clash with a dark skin colour (I couldnt view the picture you linked us to sweetie, i think your facebook profile is probably private).
