How do I block my timeline?
I want to keep anyone from scrolling down my timeline and look at my old FB statuses.
i limited past post but then i clicked "view as" and viewed my timeline as a friend and they can still see every past post i've posted.

I basically want all my past post to be private

You can simply add certain users to your "restricted List"

What happens when I add someone to the Restricted list?

When you add someone to your Restricted list, they'll only be able to see your Public content or posts that you tag them in. So if you put your boss on your Restricted list, post a photo and choose Friends as the audience, your boss (and anyone else on Restricted) won’t see that photo. However, if you add a tag of your boss to the photo, we’ll let them know they’re in it and they’ll be able to see the photo. If someone else tries to tag your boss in one of your photos, you’ll get to approve this tag from your pending posts.

OR

I want to make all of my past posts visible to only friends.

To limit the audience for past posts you’ve shared with friends of friends or Public:

-Click at the top right of any Facebook page and select Privacy Settings
-Look for the setting Limit the audience for posts I've shared with friends of friends or Public? and -click Limit Past Posts
-Click Limit Old Posts

Some important notes about this tool:
You can’t undo this action
People who are tagged in your posts and their friends may still be able to see these posts
You still have the option to change the audience of individual posts

"limit past posts" only sets your past posts to "friends only" - so your friends will still be able to see them

you would have to go thru them all one by one and delete or hide them using your activity log

the restricted list is not the right solution because then those people wont be able to see any of your new posts either
