Facebook app for blackberry- notifications not going away...please help?

Ever since I upgraded facebook on my blackberry, I've had 5notifications on my homescreen and can't delete them.

I've deleted all notifications on my fb for bb, even the ones on the mobile site, I've pretty much deleted all emails in my messages folder too...but the notifications are still there.

I uninstalled facebook for a whole week in the hopes the notifications would forget to come back, but after reinstalling I've got 9 notifications now. Smh.

Can anyone help me and explain how to get rid of the notifications on my homescreen?? It's soooo frustrating.

I've had that same problem. On my bb curve 8530 I just click the notification icon and then refresh the screen. Otherwise I have to go to the computer at home and clear everything out. Hope this helps a little.

Take out the battery of your BlackBerry and put it back, the blackberry will restart - refresh - its like a clean up ~> and you wont loose any info . Otherwise de-active the setting that you receive notifications if you don't like it (setting on the fb app) Also make sure you are running the newest version of facebook
