Can someone find my address through Facebook messenger or my phone without having access to my phone?

Someone told me tonight that they have my address and gave the correct street name. They don't have access to my phone or even have my number. We only talked through Facebook messenger. Is this possible?
I have not even updated my city on Facebook since I moved.
I was using Facebook messenger through my android phone. If I turn off the location settings on my phone would that fix the issue? My maiden name is listed but I am not even in the phonebook. Only my old city is listed.

You might have your location turned on you might want to check your setting to see what the location is for example if you have the Iphone under setting the location switch iphone off same on the computer under privacy setting have your location off because you can get an exact GPS location just by that location being on

How much Info have you posted on FaceBook? Have you posted your real name and address.

Then there is the telephone book, it is online.

Don't use your real name or address on any social web site.

Yes. To do this just go to edit contact information. Then, post your address, phone number, and street name. Now, they can see it. :-)

actually depand how the facebook information page says because if you are using your cell phone to log on to facebook and your timeline profile is public profile then it will show something on your wall like your picture what you look like if you dedicate to post and share your new look with your facebook friends and family. but that if you had changed your profile from your phone photo use as out public. but its not same as when your using desk computer to get on facebook . on phone kinda different. you get charge if you make a facebook account or using the same account for logging to your facebook yes people can see your information about who you are if you use your cell phone . but there one thing you can fix this problem is for me what i did is i made another facebook account and make up another username and i just add my family members only to access senting me emails and pictures but it on private so you can put your pictures and whatever you are keeping infomation on your phone can kept on private changing the tool view on your phone that has the friends , family etc on it change it only view by your closer best friends, family that it click save . nobody else out public cant accee your messages, or information . if you do allow to share with people thats on your facebook buddies list on timeline. keep your pictures , etc away from everyone that on your lists." dont put , tell anyone where you live , what your phone numbers is or neither what year you attend to high school and dont put anything that gotta have problems with strangers. keep your information yourself. you dont need to share everything about your life on facebook. you can just put where you from and if you still go to school then you can put the name of the high school you go to that it. nothing more. keep everything else hide and privated . no on the instant messager doesnt share anything about yourself expect your username and your photo that you choose to use to chat with your friends online. only way somebody can access your cell phone # if you had giving to them that it . if you want to read more information about how to keep safe when your using your cell phone on facebook. there you can click on the right side upper corner and you click on the icon ( * ) then click on it scroll down til you see help then clck on it then you get a small box scroll down on the screen . you type whatever you want to know . if there aint thing that isnt helpful you can click on the help page then you see a page that has questiions and answers for the android phone what really does when you plug in .
