Why do my instagram descriptions get messed up!?

Hi! so i am a frequent instagram user, im always posting pics, but this is one problem iv'e been trying to fix but just nothing is helping! So, i tend to post descriptions with pharagraphs. But i can't space them out properly! Like i press return twice, then i put a dot and do return again twice, but when the photo uploads it dosn't look how i formated it when i typed it! So how can i space my paragraphs properly? Iv'e tried restarting my phone multiple times and re-downloading the app a few times too. Iv'e also tried logging in and out but nothing! please help, it's so irritating! Thanks!

I've had the same problem and what helped me was..you need to go to the notes on your phone and type our what you want to say and space it out on your notes then copy and paste! I hope it helps!
