how can i stop seeing posts by fb friends without deleting them?

Go to your friend's timeline and go to the tab that says 'friends'. You can uncheck whatever you don't want like notifications or if you don't want to see their posts in your news feed. Also if you're getting notifications from games you need to go to your privacy settings and sort that out there.

You Can Unsubscribe From Getting There Posts By Going to There Profile you Will See a Follow Button Click on That To Unfollow Them Than you Should Not See Anymore Posts From Them

Go to privacy&settings->privacy->who can see your future posts,then change it to only me,that'z all..try soon..

Open your Friends list in your Timeline ➤ hover your mouse over their profile picture thumbnail until their small cover pic & profile picture pop up, untick Following ➤ do that to other friend profile picture thumbnail.
