Declared my love to someone. Need help!?

Yesterday I told thig girl I had a crush on that I really liked her and stuff I literally declared my love for her. But that is not the issue. I did it through Facebook... Yep, Facebook.
I felt bad for not telling her in person but I just felt like it was the time.
Is it a bad thing? If so, should I tell her I didn't mean to do it over Fb? I kinda feel strange now. What does she think about me for not telling her in person and what should I do?

if she likes you back, she wouldn't mind over facebook (well I wouldn't) and if she dosen't just start being friendly and start the process again

These days youll find that it doesn't really matter whether you was to ask someone out over Facebook or to their face. I mean most girls would prefer it face to face then others would just find it cringy and wouldn't know how to deal with it. It doesn't make you a wimp for doing through facebook because to be honest then at least that way if she does reject you it won't hit as hard. But perhaps you should'ove taken the risk because then you could'ove seen her reaction, heard her response and then you could'ove talked about the decision and decided on the next step. But seriously, don't get worked up with yourself about it just maybe for next time be abit more daring, take the risk and if you do get rejected so what! Everything happens for a reason aye Good luck!! x

This is a typical response by a guys these days that just does not understand women at all. While there are a few out there that go for this stuff you basically come of as a stalker by doing this. I would advise you STOP what you are doing right now. And leave it like it never happened until she responds. Once she responds you will have a base work to go from.
