Trying to figure out Twitter, but I don't see the practical difference between twitter and just updating your status on Facebook.

I think Twitter is for celebrities and businesses and Facebook is for friends. They both suck but Facebook is good if you want to eep in touch with friends that live in different states or cities.

Twitter is a platform where u can post any thing u have done during ur day and the ppl who love u and take interest in ur daily life can follow u and see what u are upto.
while facebook has copied the same idea from twitter only the comment part has been added so that your friends can comment

Twitter sucks! I got on 1 day & had all kinds of weirdo's following me. But on Facebook u know who is on ur friends list. I absolutely LOVE facebook! But the real answer ur prolly lookin for is at the website below that Ive left 4u to click on :-) And to the person above me- Facebook was here before Twitter- so Twitter has copied Facebook & Myspace! Like I said- Twitter sucks!!!

This is exactly what I had been thinking until I got sick of seeing all of that extra crap people do on facebook. I don't want to hear about relationship status, see every picture ever uploaded, get game requests, get poked, or any other stupid, unnecessary feature they have on there. Twitter is much simpler.

That's just me, though. If you enjoy all of that then there's no point in using twitter since it is the same thing as updating your facebook, just without the rest of facebook.
