facebook groups question!?

Okay so I made a group on facebook from my own page.
But even now when I go onto the page it treats me like a "fan" and I can't edit anything.
I can't find anything that let's me edit (small pencil icon normally) or anything!

Are you sure your signed in as the same person? under the picture it should list a bunch of options to edit the group.

There is a difference between a "fan page" and a group. You may be trying to sign into a similarly named fan page that is not yours. Be sure you are in the groups section on the new home page. Groups do not have a "fan" button. Also be sure you're signing in as the same person that made the group (and if you're not remember that Facebook's terms of service explicitly forbid multiple profiles). Most likely though, you're simply not back under groups.
