Why did Facebook change my profile to timeline but on other's pages, it isn't?

My facebook suddenly changed to timeline and I don't like it! I went on some girl's page (because you know, you're friends with people you don't really know..) and hers was the normal profile.

I want to change it back. But I know it's impossible.... But why not hers???

that girl's profile just hasnt been converted yet, but it will eventually

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update

it will take you a few days to get used to the changes, but overall, it's much better than the old profile

you can trick your browser into making it so you see your old profile, but everyone else will still be seeing your timeline profile, along with anything you dont want them seeing, and you wont be able to see anyone else's timeline profile then either
