How to delete facebook friends?

Okay,so now I have the timeline on facebook,but when I type in this person's name,it will show up,but I try going to there profile,but it won't let me because it say's "This page was not found" but there still in my friends list though.
I'm not able to go to there channel because it say's "Profile is not found"
when it is still in my friends-list.

How do I unfriend or delete a friend?

To unfriend someone:

Go to that person's profile (timeline)
Hover over the Friends box at the top of their profile (timeline)
Click Unfriend

Note: If you choose to unfriend someone, you will be removed from that person's friends list as well. If you want to be friends with this person again, you'll need to send a new friend request.

The 'profile is not found' message is a bit odd. However, you don't actually need to go into their profile to delete them from your friend's list ... so try this method of deleting them and see if it works (it's a video which shows how to delete friends on the new timeline):
