how do i get back the original facebook profile?

Facebook is doing this "new profile" thing- i clicked to see how it would look but i don't like it and i want to go back to the way it was before!! how do i go back??

Unfortunately you can not!
i have the same problem and i did exactly as you did, and i couldn't go back again to the old profile.
i hate the shitty new profile thing.

Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to the old design after you upgrade to the new Facebook profile. As Facebook is implementing this change gradually, sooner or later all the users will have the new profile, and there is no way back from it.

you can get your old profile back I just did it, all you have to do is deactivate your account and leave it for about 10 minutes then log back in and its back to normal.
