how do i permanently delete my facebook account?

i already deactivated it. but it says that all you have 2 do to reactivate it is to log back in with your regular email address & password. i don't want that. i want it to be permanently gone so that if i wanted 2 get back on, i would have to start fresh & make a whole new account.

also: before i deactivated it, i sent a message to all of my friends that i talk to saying goodbye. will they still get & be able 2 read the message if i permanently delete my facebook account?

You can't permanently delete it. Only deactivate it.

after you deactivate it, do not log in again with that account for 2 weeks and it will automatically be deleted and will not be activated again.

during those 2 weeks, your message can still be read by friends. however, after 2 weeks when your account is permanently deleted, they wont be able to read the message

You can't ..
Only way is to ask some of your friends to report you account .. Then facebook will permenantly close it.

Where u go to deactivate it there are options to permanently delete it. Uncheck the deactivate button and click another option

and the message should still show up. the same way it does when you are blocked or block someone, their name still shows up and all you just cant click on it and their is no picture
