Why on twitter do they hashtag you instead of tagging you?
She tagged my brother but she hashtag me. Its kinda weird quite honestly she's following me on twitter and I'm following her. So what's the deal? Why didn't she tag me?

It's obvious she has a secret crush on you, but doesn't want to admit (Or doesn't know it yet.) The hashtag instead of tag is a tell-tale sign of denial & it has been for centuries.
