Why do I feel a sense of approval if someone "likes" my answer on YA, am I that desperate?

Not desperate, it's always nice to know that someone agrees with you and your answer.

I feel like it's totally normal ! In a way everyone updates their social media pages and write status updates? It's to receive the sense of approval. I personally feel that helping out someone on yahoo is a lot more meaningful, the fact that you took time out of your day to help someone else out is an amazing feeling. It's just an award to get credit when credit is due sort of speak. So yes it's totally normal to enjoy and feel happy that you got best answer, or a like. Smile

Hope my answer helps!
