how do I make a facebook group?

I want to make a special subgroup of facebook friends that has its own wall. Can I do that and maybe link to my main wall for people who want to join?

go to groups.
on the top right corner there'll be create a new group.

You cannot link your group to your "main wall", other than under the default 'groups' section. However you can make the group so that no one except its members can find/see it, or you must approve each request before a member can join the group.

To create the group:
If you just want the quick and easy way, the direct link to creating a new group is http://www.facebook.com/groups/create.php
If you want to know how to get there:
First go to the groups application - Either click on the groups icon in the bottom taskbar, click the link to it from the homepage, or type it into the search bar.

Then you can click the "Create a new group" button to start your own group.
After filling in all the required details click “Create group” to make it “live”.


After you've created your group you can look in the group settings to change the privacy fields, etc. If you need more help consider going to the forum below.
