How to make a lot of friends?

I'm 17 and only have 3 friends. My older cousin has 800 on Facebook and most likely 50-100 of them in real life. I want to be exactly like her, how can I do that? It's too late for high school because I have more enemies there and I already graduated.

It is better to have three REAL friends than hundreds of Facebook names, people you don't really even know, or barely know at all. Even in "real life", if you have fifty friends, how well can you get to know each one, how well will they know you, how much time and energy can you share with them if you are so spread out? So please don't envy your older cousin, one real, genuine friend for life will make you one of the luckiest people around.
