On Facebook, are you allowed to post pictures with ads on them?
I have a pretty decent following on my facebook page and was thinking about selling ad space on the pictures I post. Is this allowed?

Why wouldnt it be? Its your page.You can do what you want.
Some people that follow you may be turned off by it though.
