i need some girl help?

the girl i liked had flirted with me for a little while. i eventually expressed a few feelings for the girl i like and got her number. i asked her on a date to a movie and she said her parents wouldnt let her go as she was to young and busy that night. she said she was sorry she couldnt go. we then agreed that if we were to ever try dating she would have to ask me on a date since i wont know when her parents will start to allow dating.i texted her a few days later through facebook and i got a mean response back saying i was annoying and for me to leave her alone. later she said her friend messed with her facebook and that she was sorry. Also when i sit near her on the school bus she seems to act really shy when its just the 2 of us .i then texted her back saying that its all cool and i talked about a prank i did in the past on someone. its been a week since i said this and i havent gotten a reply. i was wondering if there is any underlying meaning to this? she may also just be busy. should i give her some space or should i try calling her so i can get to know her better? im a junior and she is a freshman.

If she really wanted a relationship, she would text you back. Give her some space, let her take her time in getting to you. I wouldn't completely ignore her, though. Try to talk to her at school, do nice things for her, etc., girls go nuts for that stuff.
