What should I do!!!! Report it?!?! Chinchilla cruelty!?

I was on Instagram when I came across some highly disturbing pictures on one girls account! She was taking various pictures and possibly videos of her holding her poor chinchillas by the tail and posing. She also put two of them in a gallon water jug and taped the whole shut so they were trapped and couldn't breath other then the small hole to pour out of... She just keeps posting them and I'm scared to comment or report it in case I get blocked or the pictures ('evidence') are deleted. Cuz when you report something on ig they just delete the pictures and nothing get done about them... 😰😰 what do I do?!?!
She speaks Russian so I looked it up on google translate to find that the water bottle thing is her way of doing a dust bath... Is it still cruelty!?

you should video tape or take pictures of the videos and then report it so if they delete the evidence you can still show the cops the pictures and videos you took. You do need to report it animal cruelty is awful how can someone take a poor innocent animal and do awful things to them. If you really love animals and don't want anything to happen to them then I would definitely report it!!!!! I hope you do

Look up how to do screen grabs/shots, you can basically take a pic of the screen doing this. Then save them and report the kid!

I hope you do report it. There have been several high profile cases of videos posted online depicting animal and child abuse. More and more of these are being prosecuted.

Report it to the police, not report the pictures on Instagram. This is most definitely animal cruelty. When you report it, save the Instagram pictures and print them out so you can give them to the police. Give them the username of the Instagram user and any other information you might have.

Yes of course this is cruelty, but it's also russia. There aren't a lot of rights for anything in russia. You should copy the pictures, then save the links to them and send them to everyone from the spca, to the police, instagram, find her on facebook, even PETA (even though I hate them). Are you sure it's russia? There are other languages that are very close to russian because their countries border it.
