Marketing ideas for Personal Training?
I am a personal trainer and I need some ideas to advertise our personal training program for my gym, Anytime Fitness. Unfortunately, it cannot cost any money. We have printed out fliers and used facebook, but I am looking for something else more effective. Any ideas?

It is tough to market without spending money. You need to spend money to make money. Network marketing is a good way as are referrals. I am an atorney and use referrals with a lot of success.

I welcome you to contact me to pick my brain further.

You could make a condensed version of a stretching, cardio or workout routine (around 5 minutes long), video it and post it on YouTube and your facebook page.

You could give it a fancy name the 5 minute [whatever] and use it to market your full programs and build an online following. You could use the video to send people to your website (assuming you have one) where they could sign up for fitness tips straight from the personal trainer. You could then professionally market any services or sales directly to those people.

Other Ideas:

- Perhaps you could host a free day allowing anyone one free class or a bring a friend day?

- Are there any health food stores in your town where you could potentially setup a table to promote a healthy eating / healthy living type campaign?

- Networking with local massage therapists, dietitians or even doctors offices may provide ways to receive free referrals when these professionals need to refer someone to a personal trainer.

- Where do most of your current clients work and what are their hobbies? Answers to those questions will provide additional leads for some targeted campaigns.

Hope some of that helps Smile
