Getting started making a Facebook App.?

okay so i got this great idea for an app for facebook.
something that will really get people interested.
and i just need a little advice on where to start?
i have a great knowledge of computers, how they run, overclocking, some coding.
but i have forgotten HTML for the most part.

if anyone has experience in making games or applications. please
write me a list of steps i should take to get this thing on a role!
