Workplace investigation?
Hello

I am currently under investigation at work for serious comments that appeared on my FB page which I did not post.

However work assured me that I would not lose my job because of the allegations made against me.

That said, I have no proof of this and it would be very much a case of he said/she said.

Surely if an internal investigation is taking place for serious misconduct, then I would run the risk of losing my job.

Also my TU rep has expressed surprise I was not suspended for the allegations.

Is there anything I can do?

Many Thanks

If you go into settings in facebook under privacy, FB does keep log of IP and applications that were used to access your account. Go to it and print out that at date x your account was breached as evidence.

Did someone hack your account? If so, then contact Facebook and try to get any documentation you can to show that it wasn't your IP that was logged in to the account.

If they were just comments posted by someone else, I don't see how you could be held accountable for them, unless you didn't delete them (assuming you could delete them) in a timely manner.

So how do they prove its YOUR account and not an account in your name but opened by somebody who is using your personal data?
