Can your firm please cancel out my facebook account? Also I would like to have it confirmed that my facebook account is cancelled. Please advise. I no longer want the service of facebook.

Goto Top right corner and select account....then account setting and in end...select Deactivate account

if you deactivate it you can always reactivate it. if you want all your pictures and stuff gone you have to personally delete them all one by one. try posting something really vulgar like a picture of porn and tagging people in it. ask one of them to report it and your account will quickly be deleted by facebook and you will never be able to get it back.

Go to Account Settings And Hit Deactivate

if you want to delete it permantly than go to the help center and you should be able to find the link to send in a special request

of course facebook wont email you when its deleted

if you choose to delete it permantly than do not login and it will delete automatically

Everyone who says to "Deactivate Account", that is not what the OP wants.
They want to Delete Account, which is not the same.

*Deactivate Account: Account is deactivated. All pictures, media, etc. are retained. To reactivate, log in with your credentials.
*Delete Account: Account is permanently deleted. After 14 days of the request, everything is deleted. Logging in will only produce an "Account not found" error.

Wait 14 days. Do NOT use the Like button on Webpages, login etc. If you do, the process will be cancelled and you will have to start over again.
