I'm not able to send a friend request on fb ?

I tried sending a friend request on Facebook to someone. It's not being sent I don't know why. It says 'do u know this person outside of Facebook ?' . I know this person very well. Pls help.

There was just an option that said 'OK'. There wasn't any option to say yes or no to accept that u know this person outside fb or not.

Then click on the option yes. I hope this might work.
