What are some fun things to do at home?

I am bored at home and i can't seem to find anything to do. I don't have a pet and its just me and my grandma and its very cold outside. My Facebook and twitter nd instagram is getting boring. What should i do to past the time?

Take a piece of pencil lead, some tinfoil, and about 30 AA batteries. Then wire the batteries together with the tinfoil in negative to negative and positive to positive and leave one negative and one positive end somewhere in the wired up mess you've created. Then after that put both the negative and positive end of tinfoil on the pencil lead and watch what happens.
