Is there a money making system out there for twitter?

I am an internet marketing student and I want to implement twitter into my income sources. I know there's a system out there for money making methods on twitter. Whats a decent one?

Here is the absolute best. Pay Per Tweet. Advertisers have you put small ads on their sites. Links. They pay you a lot of money per, like up to 5 dollars per link sometimes. I have the link in my sources, but the site is down for maintanence now.
