FACEBOOK Profile viewing?

HI, i would like to know if ppl are actually able to know who viewed there profile.
is this true? becauz once i read a article were it says that facebook was nvr evr ganna let anyone know who has viewd thier profile and get notified. so i just want to make sure, no matter all the stupid groups that r made on fb, its not true that they are actually able to view right? THNX so much for ur time n happy holidays.

Facebook doesn't have any application or feature that allows you to see who has looked at your profile. Hence the anonymity of facebook.

The applications that claim to be able to do this, look at things you already know: people liking your status's, wall posts etc...

It's in facebook's privacy policy that you can't tell who has viewed your profile or how many people have looked at it.
