Why don't my Facebook notifications work?

I like reading people's comments if they respond to a comment I've made on a site that has a Facebook plug-in. For the past few months, though, my notifications of these comments don't seem to be working. When I log in to Facebook, I will sometimes see the Notifications globe symbol lit up for a brief second, and click on it, but it just gives me the "loading" symbol, and I never get to see what the notification is because it never stops loading. I click on "see all" and and says I have no notifications. But then sometimes I revisit a page I've commented on, and see that someone HAS responded to a comment I've made. It's annoying that there appears to be no way to be notified of comment responses anymore, or at least, the notifications just don't work. I looked at my notifications settings, and under "What to get notified about: Activity that involves you," I have that option ON. Is anyone else having the same problem? PS It's the same no matter where I access my FB from: My laptop (which has Windows 7), my iPad, or someone else's computer. I get notifications if someone responds to a wall post I've made, but not comments I make on sites with FB plug-ins anymore.

thats might be javascript error
try to update java if possible
or reinstall the java
clear cache memory of browser
if your connection is slow and you responded too fast on a page consists of heavy javascript like facebook
then error will stored on cache
