Facebook and friends?

I have some friends and when I am on Facebook and post things about my life and photos of family etc, they never reply or like any of my posts.

Then when I post something like a joke or funny photo, they like and comment.

Are they only interested in things they like and not interested in me and my life in general ?

so when you post that your having a crap, miserable day, you want all your friends to like that.......?
