Facebook chat is automatically sending out advertisements! Any idea why and how to stop it?

While I'm chatting just normally on facebook, all of a sudden a description and link for various products will be sent to everyone I am chatting with. I don't know if my computer has been hacked, my facebook been hacked, or what, but is anyone else experiencing this and how do I stop it?

I chatted for a few minutes a little while ago and did not see that when I was on. Nor did my friend mention anything.

You might want to mention it to Facebook and see if it is something that only you are going through like a hacking. Click Settings next to logout then click Help. Ask a question and see what others are saying or notify Facebook directly.

yo the same is happening to mine...friends "chat" with me with advertisements and the link to a malicious website...
idk what the heck's happening though
