how do i like a page on facebook without it appearing on anyone's timeline?

i like a lot of pages of fb but it always shows up on all of my friends wal and i dont wanna spam their wall. how do i like it without people seeing it on their wall?? please help.

there is no way to do that - that's the whole purpose for using facebook

the only way to prevent it is by adding people to your restricted list, then those people wont be able to see any of your activity
