I can't follow someone on instagram?

Hi,
Whenever I try to follow this person, the follow bar turns grey and says "requested" for about a second, then goes back to blue. The profile says "no posts yet", but on the top bar it says they have 66 posts. I have tried doing this many times but to no avail. Did they block me or is their profile just glitched?

From what you said. The person posts are private therefor when you click follow they put as requested. And I think that person didn't accept ur request that's why they put no posts! Hope I helped
