How to dye my hair properly?
I kind of want a hair color like this http://instagram.com/p/fbwMkISy1H/
sort of like an auburn colour. Which kind of hair dye should I use? It is my first time dying my hair. My hair is a dark brown but some pieces are lighter. In photographs my hair looks black though. My hair is also really long too if that helps. After dying it auburn i might want to ombre it after but i'm not sure about that yet. thanks in advance!

When you dye your hair (especially at home) the outcome is always unpredictable. A hair stylist can look at your hair's damage level, porosity, thickness, and history to determine exactly what they should use to get your hair exactly where it needs to be with the least amount of damage. Plus the hair dye a hair dresser uses is different than anything you can buy over the counter. If you are trying to save money go to a cosmetology school where the students are trained and supervised by industry professionals.

Here is a link to my nonprofit beauty blog and the post all about Box Color, how it's different from professional color, and why it is so bad for your hair.
